Four hours into my first day as a summer intern at BCG, I found myself in a case kick-off with senior management from one of Sweden’s largest stock-listed companies. BCG, a long term partner of the client, was engaged to improve the company’s customer segmentation and pricing model.

From that day I was hooked. So what was so special? I guess it’s the combination BCG offers—working with brilliant people, always striving to answer fundamental questions for our clients, and constantly being challenged with new problems.

For me it was an easy choice to later join full-time.

Niklas holds an MS in business administration from the Stockholm School of Economy and an MS in industrial engineering and management from The Royal Institute of Technology. 

As an exchange student, he attended the MBA program at Carlson School of Economics, University of Minnesota, and the Computer Department of The Swiss Federal Institute of Technology (ETH).

Prior to joining BCG, Niklas also completed an internship at an investment bank.

My first weeks at BCG have been very educational, being introduced to the vast amount of tools and experts at my disposal in the BCG system. I also enjoy being able to decide on preferences for cases to be staffed on and other roles and responsibility areas. My lifelong dedication to soccer has finally paid off as I am now part of the duo in charge of BCG Oslo’s soccer team.
