Non-Consulting careers

 

The success of our consulting firm is the result of the combined efforts delivered by both consulting and administrative staff. In our offices, administrative staff is organized into the following divisions

  • Finance
  • Human Resources
  • Information Technology
  • Knowledge Team
  • Operations

English is the official language of BCG: for this reason we select only those with a good knowledge of the language. We seek a professional training consistent with the type of skills needed to work in the individual divisions. Familiarity with the most common IT tools is also a prerequisite. 

Our people are motivated to grow and learn, determined to achieve the objective, transparent and honest in professional relations, good at addressing challenges and persistent in solving problems.

Our divisions are organized as small working groups where it is essential that all members will act in a mutually reinforcing way, integrated and structured, daily confronting and communicating clearly, effectively and professionally correct.

The ideal candidate will also have demonstrated to possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills and great team spirit.

Finance
Finance manages all financial and legal affairs within our offices. In addition to creating financial reports and planning, finance is also responsible for e.g. administering the different parts of the remuneration package, including benefits and insurance.
Human Resources

HR comprises recruiting, career development, training, and staffing.

Recruiting coordinates our continuous search for talented people and organizes the actual recruiting process. Career development, training, and staffing manage the growth and development of the consultants. HR also manages career development and training activities for our administrative staff.

Information Technology
The mission of the BCG Global IT Service Team is to have the best connected, educated, and technology-enabled staff in the consulting world. We promote efficient, world-class service and achieve this by taking a proactive approach, using effective communication, and by equipping our users with reliable resources and the needed skills.
Knowledge Team
The knowledge team supplies the right information at the right time to consultants. The team gathers and manages information across many subjects. The staff is composed of researchers and analysts. Researchers are skilled in search techniques associated with our different practice areas, for example, financial services. Our analysts, who guide consultants in their search for information, are real experts in specific areas. They execute complex analyses based on the gathered information. They coordinate large-scale research projects and are involved in projects as advisors.
Operations

Operations covers Executive Assistants, Case Team Assistants, Receptionists

Executive Assistant provides support to Partners and Principals, manages complex agendas and client communication including booking meetings, travel and daily logistics; screens all calls and mails; coordinates details of case related events.

Case Team Assistant (CTA) supports our project teams; produces presentations according to BCG formats, including highly complex graphics and using BCG tools: PowerPoint/Excel/Word; manages phone calls/messages and time sheet; schedules external/internal meetings, handles logistics and travel arrangements.

Reception manages the switchboard, greets all visitors and vendors; is responsible for booking of the meeting rooms, mail and courier services.
